Max wheel width on an R56 MCS?

The car currently has 17x7 ET48 flame wheels. Looking at some BBS LM type wheels but finding them in anything under an 8.5 width isn't easy (without paying for proper LM's!)

Does anyone know what the max width on a standard height MCS is? Would an 8.5" fit?

There is also the offset to consider (the positon of the wheel rim compared to the mounting point). Check this befor paying.

Thanks. I know I'll need to lower the offset if I go wider. Et30 seems ok for an 8" wheel.

7.5 x 18 is the biggest I have seen with 215/35/18 tires. This dose not mean its not posible. Have you looked in the moden mini mag. Give one of the supplyers a call and see what they say?

As long as you get the right offset you can get some 8's on there.
