Mini convertable
Discussion
Just make sure you read up about roof problems on the old convertible on sites such as www.totalmini.com etc so that you don't have any surprises later on.
Problems are roof wear, in less than 3 years of owning my 2005 MCSC JCW I had 4 new roof fabrics, 3 of which were for wear issues. The other was for when the rear window imploded. A new fabric will cost around £1500.
Then there are roof mechs that are failing, I had mine fail once on me and it had to be replace, this is a more costly job.
Again if you sign up to sites such as www.totalmini.com you can ask users for experiences or read www.mini2.com.
If you get an older convertible then I'd make sure you have some kind of warranty on it
