Hi there!!!

I recently had some KW coilovers fitted to my mini. But after getting her back on the road i was hearing metal grinding noises frown I managed to limp home and got the car up on the ramps to see my alloys were rubbing on the damper. **Sad times**

I then went on a mission to find some spacers preferably 10mm.

Although i have managed to get some, they actually don't fit that well. I am not the most tecnical person in the world but the inner ring which should fit the hub ( i think) is really lose and thus all the pressure is going on the wheels bolts.

Now i have spoken to a couple of people who said this should be fine for a little while, but to get it sorted sooner rather than later. I have looked around lots of places (minispeed, Minisport etc) and can't seem to find them, all i need is 10mm spacers for Mini's. Would i be better to get this made or can i actually buy these from somewhere??

Thanks

Lohen or GTT supply these alongside the correct wheel studs.

I would not recomend driving around with badly fitting spacers, wheels coming off is just not fun. Have you talked to the coil over supplyers about the spacing problem you are having? They should be able to help with recomendations on how to solve it.

What wheels have you got? I've never heard of standard rims rubbing on coilovers....!

Even when you have the bushes done you will still get vibration due to the lower stance its normal when the car is more than 30mm lower
