Sorry if this as been asked before but my wife as just bought a mini-cooper and it as got a radio cassette player in.
Is there a decent replacement for this? she wants a radio,cd/mp3 player without having to spend £250 to £300 at a main dealer.

You can get the OEM BMW CD player from Ebay for £50 - £80, there are two types. The earlier ones where Alpine but the newer ones look better IMHO

Fitting wise Minis have two connector types, flat pin and round pin - coming from a tape your going to need an adapter to fit any new stereo - so check which one you have before ordering. The newer OEM CD players are flat pin (not sure abut the Alpind CD30 ones) So dont assume just because its OEM it will fit - you can buy adapters.

You can get a Kenwood CD/MP3 player with Mini fitting kit for about £60 on Ebay also. This kits comes with the facia plate you will need to fit a normal stereo into a Mini
