Anyone know if you can get a sports exhaust for the cooper via the dealers or from a company like Peco or the like, just want to make the wifes car sound a bit sportier than the bog standard item !

Lots of options... what age of mini ? Play mini get a good reputation, Alta, Borla amongst others...

Have a look at someone like lohen to get an idea of what is on offer (www.lohen.co.uk)

If you're talking about the R53, here's a few of the popular choices

Manufacturer Link Purchase Link Picture Comments
Playmini £162.75 Loud
Janspeed £259.99 V.Loud & Marmite Noise
Milltek £335 Burbley. Like a bee, it's unobtrusive but it packs a sting
Borla Road £455 Like a Milltek but louder
John Cooper Works Sound Kit £670 Expensive, you get an induction kit, new exhaust, a different engine top cover and those spangly Works Badges

Each link is for the cheapest online purchase price i could find with a quick look. Except in the case of the JCW kit where the only place you can purchase them is BMW, so i listed one of the dealers who give a discount.
