Hello,

At a glance, the leg room in the back of a mini looks rather lacking. To anybody with an 07/08 mini, I have a question: :smile

I'm 6'0 tall, would I be able to get another person of my height sat behind me?

Only if they have no legs.

I'm 6'0 and my six year old has to sit behind the Mrs - i have had 4 up in the car but i was cramped to say the least in the driver seat.

hmm.. do u think this is because the car is marketed at a female demographic? I love the cooper S, but the lack of leg room would worry me. Hmm.. how do you find it as a motor generally? Quick, fun to drive etc? Any problems thus far? Oh and did you get the TLC pack? How much was that and what does the TLC include?

The S is defo the Male version !!

Its an ace car, handles well, spins the wheels in the 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd gear - best car i've had for a while, mines a Co car as well so its always on the limit - Just had New screen(cracked) 2 new front tyres(hmmm), new rear discs and pads and is like new again !

Not a chance! I'm 6ft and when I had mine (R56 S) I had to have the back of the seat resting on the front of the rear seat, no one of any size could sit in there! It was part of the reason I got rid of mine as I thought if I was going to have a 2 seater I may as well have a good one!!

ahh ok, so what did you replace the car with? What a shame eh? I think that might put me off purchasing one! Did you enjoy owning the mini?

Gone back to Lotus...! Top fun!

As for the mini, I did enjoy it but it wasnt the happiest ownership experience. The car was seemingly made of paper, lost count of how many times it went back to the dealer and had all kinds of things replaced, the list was endless. The 17s with runflats were truly shocking so I switched to 16s with non-runflats which transformed it.

I wouldnt have another, I think I may have been a bit unlucky in getting one of the early R56 cars (I bought it new), I think the later ones are better built. The one good thing was getting rid of it wasnt painful cost wise as the residuals are good!
