Once every 2 months I Swissvax 'Cleaner fluid' all over to prep, followed by 2 coats of Swissvax 'Onyx' wax on the white body and Swissvax 'Saphir' wax for the roof and other black bits. That enables me to do a quick 20min clean once a week and it comes up like new.

Your car was the one that tipped me to order PW/B Here she is:

Do you apply the products by hand, and what do you use on plastics/glass?

I apply it all by hand. It normally takes a whole day to do properly, but that is offset by the time it then takes to wash each week - it literally takes 20 mins because the dirt rinses off the wax easily, with a warm soapy (I use Johnsons Baby Bath) washmit.
I'm still searching for something to use on the black plastic, but for the windows I use good old Rain-x once every two months which stops any build up on the glass thus resulting in not needing any extra products after washing.
Sounds fantastic kmpowell. I'm not sure what your definition of service is - if it's "spend a lot of hard-earned" - then you're right!
A couple of last questions - I promise! How does the cleaner fluid work, do you mix it in with the wash water, or spray over the car body like a claylube? With regards to the plastics - I've found the Meguiars Trim Detailer to be a fair product, seems to last a fair while, whereas the AG Bumper Care gives a lovely deep colour but lasts about a minute
And on a non-car-care question: How do you find the panoramic roof in terms of wind noise when closed/open, rattles, etc?
Cheers!

The 'cleaner fluid' is applied just like wax and is used to clean the paintwork ready for the wax. It is only really needed for cars that have suffered in weather conditions after being left exposed, so If you are getting a brand new car like I did, you should only need a light coat in places to get rid of any imperfections or factory residue.
As for the roof, its an excellent bit of kit. Quite pricey, but the quality is brilliant and there is no wind noise or poor fitment on mine.
