Cooper D - test drive booked.

Hi folks,

Anyone tried the Cooper D yet? I took my car in today to get some bits looked at under warranty (squeaky door and new window seals) anyway, it needs to go in on wednesday to have the seals fitted which is going to be a one hour job.

I mentioned that their new Cooper D demo looked rather nice and the service manager sugested that I test drive it while they do the window seals. I don't see any reason not to have a drive of it, I made it clear that I wasnt going to be buying one for at least a year and they were more than happy to let me have it for an hour or so.

I've had a look at the reviews and it seems to be quite a car, so I'm looking orward to driving and and comparing it to my ONE D.

I might even post a comparison report if people want?

well i test drov eht enew mini cooper D over the weekend and i have to admit it was a fantastic drive. i ordered my mini cooper D back in feb and it has definately been worth the wait ! can't wait to get it out on the open road. have to admit, if i had the choice between the cooper S and the cooper D, i'd take the D any time. have a happy test drive !

Cool, well it sounds like you enjoyed the car. When is your delivery date for your particular car?

The demo car I'll be driving tomorrow is pepper white with 17" alloys (I think they are the 'crown spoke' design) it looks rather cool.

Once I have driven it I will write a little report and post it on here.
