power of te standard Mini stereo

I am looking to buy a new set of speakers for my 53 plate cooper s. Im needing to know what the output of my stereo is so i can buy the right ones.

Can some one please help me?

The speakers in the standard wave are rated at 20watts, hope that helps

Why are you replacing the speakers if i may ask?

If you are replacing them for quality you'll need a better head unit as well, because the standard unit isn't that great

my left speaker has blown and needs replacing, i would love to get a new head unit but dont know if my cd changer will be compatable with a different head unit as i've only got the standard one in.

I rang my local dealership for help but they just advised me to speak to a independant audio company.

speack to mikey at newministuff.com the man is a genuis audio wise a guy onnour forum is also giving away a full se of speackers as hes just had em upgraded there on www.scnm.net in the for sale section but free if you pay poastage or collect
