Hey Guys,

Has anyone upgraded their mini seats to the JCW Version?
Im told you loose the side airbags as a result - Does this concern anyone else regarding the loss of side airbags ?
cheers

Hey Maser,

I've got the JCW seats, and they're bl00dy brilliant. Yes you do loose the side airbags, but it doesn't concern me. I got hit fairly solidly on the drivers door last year and it was fine. The doors have good impact protection.

When your MINI has as much power as yours, I'd say that the JCW seats are invaluable. Like everything else JCW, they're a little expensive for what is, in the end, a re-trimmed Cobra seat (apparently).

Thanks Nath,

The car is currently in for some more mod work at JCW.
Having a new Flywheel and Competition Clutch combined with Limited Slip Diff so we hope to get the BHP upto approx 233bhp with the Motorsport Download for the ECU.

The Power deffinately creates more movement in the drivers seats! but was a little concerned about the loss of airbags.

When you next down at JCW Nath ?

I never really thought about the loss of the airbags. I got by just fine for years without them.

I'm trying to stay away from JCW at the moment to protect my cheque book! They sent me some p0rn through the post just the other day offering brake kits etc
