2109 Mini Cooper Convertible - Mirrors don't fold on lock ?

Hi all - just got a 2019 Mini Cooper convertible for my mother.

Car does not have comfort access but does have the button in the door to fold the mirrors which works but I cannot seem to have them fold when locking the car from the fob. I've just pressing and hold the lock button, pressing and releasing the lock button and then pressing and holding again but they don't seem to fold.

Any ideas ?

We have a 2020 cooper S and I have the same problem.

Maybe just press the button for the mirrors before you get out.

Not rocket science.

They don't/won't automatically fold you maybe able to get them to fold with coding
