My wife just got a 5dr cooper, which I quite enjoy driving too. I have noticed though, particularly in the wet that it feels like either both front wheels (or at least the driver’s side one) are only making contact with the road on their inner edge of tread.

Is this a Mini “feature” or should I just get it along to the local dealer to have the alignment checked?

Definitely sounds like an alignment is required assuming your tyres are good with correct pressures & matching.

Thanks, I didn’t even think to check pressures. idea

They were about 3psi too high for the load the car will carry. It does drive better now, but I think it may just be setup for run flats and it’s just regular tyres on it now.

I’m also comparing to my daily which is a 911 so I may be expecting too much here! ??

They are sensitive to tyres, but in general non-run-flats improve the ride & handling.

What tyres are on it?
