I'm going to view a low mileage (44k) Cooper S today. The N18 engine has a chain, I've heard these should be changed at a certain mileage/age. Does anyone know foe sure what that is?
It's designed to be a lifetime item so there isn't really any service intervals for it. It'll be up to you if you want to change it out for peace of mind.
