Main dealer - great service!

Just wanted to heap praise on to Lloyds MINI in Cockermouth. (No affiliation whatsoever, bar buying a MINI there).

So we bough a MINI JCW in October - they MOT'd it before sale, and plugged a puncture (screw visible on test drive) in the rear tyre, and off we went.

Car had been great, however the service light came on last week - mileage/time service due including oil and brake fluid etc, oh and the rear tyre had slowly leaked air since we bought it.

Gave them a call, expecting to at best have to contribute to the service, at worst, suck it up, buttercup,

Nope. They apologised profusely, did the service for free, and when told about the tyre repair - put a new tyre on, no quibble.

No charge for the courtesy car, and cleaned the JCW inside and out. Done and dusted within four hours of dropping it off.

I just though that was pretty decent, and to be fair, would deffo mean I would go to them for our second car - probably a JCW Clubman!

Had they told you prior to sale that it needed a service soon?

If it was an approved used car it should of had any service items carried out if they were due within 6k miles or 4 months. Tyres should be Mini/BMW approved also with the star rating.
