Any thoughts on/info about the car below??

https://www.lookers.co.uk/ford/used-car/mini/hatch...

Mrs clarki is looking to swap in her Polo GTI to go back to a mini and this is favourite currently.

Only query I have is the wheels, not standard but apparently mini approved. Why change them though, is it a common modification, could they be better for track days? Or am I overthinking things a bit here.

Any thoughts/ info greatly appreciated.

They look like OZ Ultraleggera which are £1500 worth of wheels if genuine. Doubt they are Mini approved - they just happen to be one of a few wheels which have the correct offset to clear the big calipers.

There are a couple of other mods like the JCW Pro steering wheel (£500 from Mini) and the GP3 front corner arches. Again, not cheap.

There may be other mods, it might be worth joining the F56 Facebook owners group & seeing if anyone knows the car? These are pretty common mods, but are high quality so not necessarily the sign of a boy racer or someone who hasn’t maintained the car to a high standard.

There not GP3 corner splitters, it's the JCW Pro kit, front and rear corner splitters and rear diffuser.
It's very well specd, things I'd want would be HUD and XL nav.

Ah, you’re correct, didn’t notice the rear!
