New JCW Countryman - Blocked Exhaust Outlet?

Hey all,

Just picked up a brand new JCW Countryman today. Just notice that the passenger side exhaust outlet seems to be different from the driver side one - almost as if the passenger side one is blocked by a piece of metal. Is this normal?

It’s a valved exhaust. Passenger side opens if you are in ‘sport’ mode.
