2008 Mini Cooper Clubman

I'm looking for a cheapish run around that I can fit a large dog in. A Clubman with the petrol 1.6 turbo engine is advertised locally with just over 100k miles. Supposedly it's had a new cam chain and oil pump, is there much else to look out for at this mileage?

The std Cooper does not have a turbo. The Cooper S does have a turbo.

Although not completely bullet proof the non-turbo Cooper will be pretty reliable for a 15 year old car. I would go with far more caution if it is a Cooper S,. But saying that my Cooper S of a similar age was pretty reliable.

Thanks. There's a turbo on the advertised car. The owner has only had it for around 6 months, and it's had a fair bit of work. As I'm not really bothered about how fast it can go, perhaps I'll give this one a miss.
