1 halo drl barely working...
Discussion
Hi, can anyone tell me if they have come across this before and what the fix was before I find an auto electrician.
Car in a 2013 JCW R56. The drivers side drl (oem halo) is very dim/barely working (very hard to see in daylight ironically)
The old one had stopped working, the leds had started to fail in places and the light was full of powder/corrosion anyway and I was planning on replacing to freshen it up a bit. So bumper off, new lights fitted both sides, bumper back on, turn it on and oh....
Fog lights are fine (same brightness as offside) and when the headlights are on you can see the led pattern change but it is still very dim..
I've only gone as far as spraying some contact cleaner on the connections incase corrosion was a cause.. the start stop seems to have thrown an error at the same time in case that's connected. I'm going to swap a few fuses to see if it goes away but after that I'm stuck.
Any ideas?
