Anyone fitted Mintex 1144's to a mini one? I understand they don't accommodate the brake sensor??

Mrs21's needs new discs and pads so might as well change to something with a little more performance but don;t want to mess too much or is yellow okay on a light car for spirited road (no track). Looking for good initial bite in the wet and cold, don't care about wear rates.

Only had them on Elise’s , slightly dusty but decent bite for the price. Will probably put them on my cooper when required. Waiting for the dreadful run flats to wear down at the moment.

Same, I used them for everyday road on my Exige. Tempted by yellow pads as these accommodate the sensor I believe.

I would personally stick with real OEM pads.

They will likely last better & are certainly better performing than ebc plasticine.

A friend used yellow stuff in his 111r. Personally I didn’t like them but on a heavier mini they may be ok.

They won't.

In my frustration (due to supply issues at the time) when looking for upgrade pads for mine I bought a set as I haven't tried them for several years & they were still as sh!t as they ever were, just don't.
