Hi-fi upgrade in F56 Mini - is it possible?
Discussion
I'm about to purchase a 2016 Mini Cooper S with only the basic 'radio boost' setup, i.e. the most basic of setups, with no large LCD screen, and I think only 4 speakers (2x door and 2x rear passenger?).
I'm not too bothered about the asthetics but I'm keen on decent sound. The basic setup is pretty awful. Would it be possible to stick some under-seat subs, upgrade the speakers and install an amplifier using the existing screen?
Here's what it looks like:

Do the photos show it has aux. out so an amplifier can be installed?
Thanks in advance.

It's possible but not cheap, prices start around £1000 for a plug and play amp, front/rear speakers and under seat subs. The stock head unit also needs doing to HiFi to remove all the built in EQ.
There are no Aux or Pre outs on the stock unit, you have to use an amp that supports high level inputs.

Yes it is, audison, match, vibe, mb quart, focal all have upgrade kits. Budget is your limiting factor.
I'm leaning towards Focal on mine. Would it be a good choice?I've seen adaptors for "normal" speakers and that would widen the range from witch to choose from.
Has anyone seen these or used them?
