Mini r56 cooper 12

Hello all. ....fishing for thoughts...mods ...engine swaps...I have an 08 cooper with immaculate condition and low 60k but it has chucked a piston on cylinder 4 the n12 engine after recently replacing alot...timing chain head gasket thermostat crossover pipe exhaust and manifold gaskets and more.....owing to the fact this engine seems as robust as a shoe box in the rain,has anyone heard of any alengine swaps to a reliable engine eg k swap honda or ford 1.0l ecoboost etc.. or others . ..just wanna see back of the problematic n12 engine

Undoubtedly someone, so.ewhere will have done an engine swap, but it would be financial suicide.

Far better to get an R53 or F56 Cooper S dependent on your budget.....
