2011-12 D for workhorse?

I'm considering the idea of a 2011-12 (N47) cooper D as a bit of a workhorse in terms of mileage. Just me running up and down the M5 & A38 over the South West as a cheaper car to stick the miles on.
Thinking about something with 80-90K on it so expecting to either have had or be ready for a new timing chain and a few bits.
