2017 Mini 6 speed automatic won’t shift

Hoping someone can help.

Just arrived after a 3 hour journey and I can’t move the gear-lever from neutral to reverse or park, only between neutral and drive.

You need to lift the gear-lever to move between park, reverse and below and the gear lever wont lift at all.

Has anyone come across this and know of a solution? The gear knob just pulls straight off if I lift with anything then the lightest pressure.
