Can't turn the radio off

We can't turn the radio off in the wife's 2013 Countryman. We were on holiday for four weeks and when I took the car for a run the radio wouldn't turn on and neither would the windscreen blower. After about 20 minutes the blower started working. Two or three days later the radio started working but we can't turn it off. Any suggestions welcomed.

Random failings on interior equipment on these is a classic can bus issue & likely the footwell control module which runs all that stuff is at fault. Needs diagnosing on a code reader.

Common on Minis. I’ve read it can be related to water ingress but maybe someone else can confirm. Luckily when it happened to me the approved used warranty covered a new head unit
