Sat Nav Update

My wife has a 2017 Cooper that has the BMW sat nav, we went to Wales over the weekend and the sat nav proved itself hopelessly out of date and frankly pretty useless.
Has anybody updated their sat nav maps outside of the dealer network or is it a case of giving mini lots of money to do (is it even possible)?

I get mine done at the dealer. Think it’s around £80 individually but I get 3 included with my service pack.

Have you thought about getting a CarPlay box fitted? Worth thinking about if your mini is a keeper.
