Any phone holder recommendations for the 3 door F56 (2014 model) ? The holy grail of stable, not obscured by steering wheel, etc. Any photos of said holder in use appreciated. Mostly used for infrequent Sat nav use as the built in Nav is probably a bit dated and Google maps is better at avoiding traffic delays.

I've seen some magnetic ones. Are these strong enough to avoid dropping the phone during normal driving. Any other worries? (magnetising analogue watches perhaps? - I don't have a Rolex Milguass).

I have one of these:

Expensive, yes, but does a great job. Its secure and also discreetly blends into the rest of the interior.

Those both look atrocious.

OP go for the Cravenspeed holder or the cheap copy: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125077681049?hash=item1...

You could also go for a brodit pro clip if you want another option both the craven speed & it's many clones can restrict your view so they aren't exactly legal

Cheers for the suggestions. The cup holder versions are probably too far away from the line of vision to be useful.
Have ordered a cheap Cravenspeed copy.
