Mini F56 1.5 petrol Oil ??

My wife’s 65 plate Cooper has been a great car for the last 7 years. I am soon to be doing DIY servicing on the car and am wondering what grade of oil to use. When new BMW recommended 5w30 but have in the last few years starting recommending 0w30. BMW insist 0w30 is correct. However every online shop that sells service kits say 5w30. I know there is not much difference but which do I choose ? ??
