Hi all,
Quick Q for anyone with the N18 petrol engine. After oil changes, am I expecting too much for the oil not to stay nice and clear for a bit before it starts to get darker? I had mine done last week and drove home less than a mile and the oil was already the same colour as before....so I mentioned it to the garage in case they 'forgot' to change it and they did swap it again, but its gone back to deposited again pretty much sharpish. I don't care what colour it is but I normally equate the darker the more deposits, as long as it lubricates I should probably not worry. It's just not like my bike engine oil colour
