R56 JCW GP2 - broken electrical cable. Help required.
Discussion
Hello,
I’ve recently taken ownership of a GP2 which is great. I did a 2 stage colour correction and ceramic coating yesterday and whilst cleaning inside each arch I discovered the following in the passengers side front arch.
There seems to be an electrical connector block by the lower front arch liner that has one electrical cable that has broken off / come loose. There seems to be nothing wrong with the car (as far as I can tell).
Does anyone know what this connector does? I’ve tried to find it on the R56 diagrams but cannot source anything.
Thanks.
Chris

Might be headlight leveller. Xenon versions have a small device on the arm (electrical device with a short arm) that moves when car is more laden, thus changing the headlight angle.
Or brake pad wear indicator for warning light. Not very important and might have been bridged.
Edit in fact it does look like the headlight leveller, but not easy to tell from pic.
