Mini 4 years old in April and due a major service. Car done less that 15k miles and only 3.5k miles since service at 2 years old(filter , oil and inspection).
MINI cost is about £340 ish or £420 ish if have spark plugs changed which seems to be recommended (but not checked with dealer). Major service includes air and pollen filter.
Thinking about keeping dealer (MINI) service history uptodate but the 2 year time limit between minor and major service seems overkill in view of the low miles.
Anyone else had this and did you just stump up and have it done?

Just do it!

For the cost of keeping everything where it should be it is a no-brainer.

ESPECIALLY if you do short journeys regularly.

Mileage is less of a car killer than short journeys.

Help never skimp on maintenance, it’ll only bite you further down the line.
