Will the stereo read artists/albums from USB?

We're picking up a 2018 reg Mini Cooper in a couple of weeks.

What I want to know, and can't find any reference to in the manuals online, is this:

If I stick all my music (in AAC format) onto a big 128gb USB stick, will the stereo allow me to search by artist/album etc?

Thanks. Are there any types of memory stick that are particularly recommended, or will any old one do? (Looking at a 128GB stick - there's no size limit, is there?)

128 gb works in mine but unless you have 10s of thousands of tracks you can get away with something quite a bit smaller.

Thanks...I do have tens of thousands of tracks which I really should spend some time in reducing - far too many to scroll through while driving!
