Sytner Nottingham has just quoted £2468.62.

It's a long time since I had a clutch replaced, but that sounds like a huge figure.

Anyone any recent experience please?

Dick Lovett of Hungerford charged me £265 to change the oil and filter in my 2018 Countryman, which took under 20 mins once they actually started work, so I would say that price probably works out. Robbing sods.

Sounds on the expensive side, I know main dealer prices for a full clutch and DMF is around £1000 and their hourly rate is something like £120+vat but £2500 is excessive. I'd find a local BMW/Mini specialist and get it done for a lot less.
Sister in law paid £800 for a clutch and DMF a couple years ago from a local mechanic on a 116i.

Mini Clutches are big money it is a very tedious and long job to get them replaced. I am waiting for my 191k clutch to go, but still plenty of life in it at the moment

The nice young lady at Mini was explaining to me earlier how they often have to change the flywheel as well, which is why it is so expensive.

Also the air in our tyres was old, so they have to charge for new air.

May not be what you are looking for, but may be worth talking to the dealer about PX your current one for a brand new one.

My wife also had a 2018 Countryman with some issues and the main dealer wanted it for stock, so even with the issues the trade in price made it very cheap to switch into a brand new one.

Sorry can't be more help on costs.
