R56 Factory JCW as Toy
Discussion
If it's to be a toy, and I assume two seats is fine, I'd heartily recommend a GP2. Yes, you'll spend a bit more money, but it's by-far the best R56 and it'll hold (or increase) it's value rather than continue to depreciate like all the others.
Find a good one that's been used but looked after, and you'll have a brilliant time without anything going too far wrong.

Would love a GP, but I'm looking 5-7k hence the Factory JCW route. Plus I live in London so it would be sitting outside.

Hmm, a JCW would likely be on the ropey/miley side for that kind of money. That would buy a nice N18 engined Cooper S though (2010-2013), which can give similar performance with just a remap. Depends what you intend to do with it, tune it to a certain level, track it, or just use for B road blasts, or whatever.Paw
