R59 Belt Replacement

My wife has a 2013 Mini Cooper Roadster and I was wondering when the timing belt is due for replacement.

We've had it nearly 2 years.

Car has done 27k miles.

I don’t believe it has a belt. Do you think it does? Is it diesel? But anyway only up to 2010 diesel had a belt as far as I know.

Sorry I'm not sure, is it a timing chain then?

I just assumed that something would need changing, timing-wise.
