Hi all

O/H’s f56 Cooper S is on crappy Dunlop 18” run flats. 43 psi front and 40 psi rear. They’re going to get replaced with NRFs in a few weeks.

Any advice on what pressures to use from those that have made the same move?

It is the tyre size and weight of the car that decides the pressures, so if they don't change neither does the pressure.

I've lowered the pressures on my F56 JCW with Pirelli runflats to 34psi all round, ignoring the absolutely ridiculous prescribed pressures (40psi+) from Mini.

Ride is much improved, but I'll still be sacking them off for non-runflats as soon as I can.

Agree with the above that the recommended pressures are too high. I'm currently running 36 psi all round on my R58. It's hard to believe, that in comparison the recommended pressure for my TVR is only 26 psi.

About 34-37 would be ok imo

Thanks all. I’ll try lowering to 37/40 first - the same as my Cooper S on 17s and see how it goes.
