After her first service & phone calls to buy the car they have now called offering a service plan.
What is a twice a year seasonal health check.
Cant be oil & tyre pressures thats on the dash.
Low any thing is on the dash.
Fluid top up mentioned twice as a service.
It includes an MOT & a major service from Jan 2022 to May 2025.
So she will get a major service July 2023 & oil & micro filter May 2025.
I know main dealers are not cheap but what is the normal cost of a service.
I know i can call & ask but i am sure a lot of people have already looked at the service plan.
Is 650 reasonable.
Brake pads must be an optional extra smile

£650 for 5 years servicing looks a real bargain, until you look into what you’re getting.
You’re only getting one proper service and one oil change over that time. Seasonal checks are pretty basic and they’ll probably find something to charge you for anyway.
For what you get , it’s probably about what a main dealer would charge (@£100+ per hour ) but it’s not the bargain it first appears, particularly if you’re uncomfortable with 2 year oil changes. ( see thread re timing chains).
