valve stem oil seals..aarrghh

ok ,so the mini may have valve stem seal issues,who and how much are we looking at for replacement.Seen online that it can be done with the head still on the car....will travel

OK, let's start at the beginning.

Why do you say "may have valve stem seal issues"?

Smoke on idle and overrun , know that the bmw engine has this issue . Pcv return pipe dry and turbo inlet shows no oil

RC motorworks do it for £250 to £300 while you wait I believe

Might have to dig out the correct name, but that's the ballpark figure, lots travel to get them to do the work.

cheers ,been in touch with R and C and will go to them if the garage where i bought it dont find or fix the issue under their warranty.

ok seals done at R and C and so far all is good ,will monitor over the coming weeks....no smoke its great
