Accessories/Modifications and where best to buy them

Yesterday we picked up my wife's 2020 F54 Clubman Cooper S (pepper white / black roof), first mini since we specced a new one back in 2005. Feel it needs a dechrome and a few red accents, but I only seem to be able to find a stick on 'black pack' - Are these actually any good? My main concern being that they will look like stick-on bits and not very flush.

Also, can anyone advise on some good online retailers to buy accessories from? Have seen the SMPS website and they look pretty good, but there are no reviews on any of their products. Was thinking of buying their JCW mirror caps (red/chequered flag), and a red grille stripe. Any other good retailers you guys would recommend? (The Kill All Chrome website seems to have stopped working for me over the last few days).

I bought the red grille strip from KAC for my previous MINI and it was fine. SMPS have been around for a while and I've not heard anything bad. Discount codes are always around for both.

Plenty of people have successfully de-chromed their beltline with kits but it depends on how handy you are.

At times MINI can be less expensive than you think, so I'd draw up a list of what you're after and ask them for a quote. You might be surprised and you at least know OEM stuff is going to fit.

Petrol Ped did a couple of YouTube videos on dechroming which I think included the stick on "black pack" items, might be worth a look.

Ah cool, I’ll have a look at that - just ordered red JCW mirror caps and grill strip from SMPS - I see that KAC are back online now - thanks for the recommendations

Rybrook Mini in Stratford have an Ebay shop that is useful for things like the grille surround. They can be surprisingly cost competitive.
I also used SMPS for some of my black pack items too. Lohen have loads of other accessories if you want to go deeper into modding.
