Anybody got their Fxx Cooper S mapped?
Discussion
Hi
I have an F54, just over 3 years old and WBAC are offering me slightly more than I have to pay off the finance so even assuming they drop me a bit, I can easily pay off the finance and break even.
So at the moment, I am working out what to do as really I want more power. I love the car, it does exactly what we need as a family (dog in boot, car seat in rear, roof box on top for camping etc) but I feel I am at a point now where I want more power.
The question I have is sell up and buy something new (Golf R, Leon Cupra, M135i) or just get the Mini mapped. A new car is a risk as I have the drama of finding one in the spec I want and I know the history of the Mini as I have looked after it since brand new.
JF Automotive are near me and have a good reputation.
Long story short, has anybody Stage 1 mapped their Cooper S Fxx series?
Did it transform the car?
Any issues with the standard clutch? Mine is a manual
Any issues with the map/engine?
