Which Oil for Mini one 1.6

I’ve just bought my wife a 2011 Mini 1.6 and wanted t know which oil people use.

I change the oil in her cars every 12 months, she does approx 8000 miles a year and I was thinking 5w 30 fully synthetic but should I be putting longlife oil in?

Any recommendations. Doesn’t have to be super expensive, Mobil super 3000 EBay is my usual ‘go to’ oil.
