Is this the N14 or N18 engine?

Hi fellow mini lovers,

I just recently had my F56 JCW written off and am in the market for another. Ideally I want to go cheaper and go for the R56 JCW. I have one in mind but I don't want the N14 engine. The jcw I have my eye on is a stage 1 with a custom AEM induction kit so I was hoping someone could help shed some light on the type of engine it has!

As said N14, but I wouldn't discount it out of hand, a well looked after 14 is still better than a neglected 18.

I think the R56 JCW still ran the N14 engine, even after the Cooper S got the N18 as part of the facelift.

Cooper s got the 18 in 2010, JCW didn't get the 18 till 2012/13
