MINI R56S 2007 doesn't start
Discussion
Hello fellow MINI lovers. I have a bit of a problem. My R56 doesnt cranck nor start. It started fine yesterday. Today i checked all the fuses, the ones under the steering wheel and the ones in the engine bay. My delphi software tells me that i have the following codes:
A0C1
Terminal 50 output
Input signal missing or faulty
Permanent
A0C2
Terminal 50 output R S
Signal too low
Permanent
A0B4
Starter motor, starter operation
Permanent
The battery has 12.30V, j already tried starting it with the jumper cables. Tried knocking on the starter motor with a hammer, tried all the fuses in the engine bay and all have 12V of power on them. I also tried switching out the relays between different spots to se if maybe one was damadged but still no luck. A friend of mine who studies electricity tried them with a multi meter and they are fine. I read that this could be the fault of the clutch switch, the CAS module, and of course a bad starter. I don't want to order a new one until i am absolutely sure that it is the source of this problem. I would try to push the car down a hill and see if it starts bud since i replaced the timing chain two days ago and haven't driven it since i am afraid that this could over-tension it and will rattle again. Please help
