Car in Production ... how long

Just got my email saying JCW countryman is in production .. when should we get it ?

Exciting to be so close. Would be interested to know if there’s a way of tracking the order like there is with BMWs. I’ve just ordered a Clubman JCW and while it’s too early to worry about delivery, do I reeeaaaalllllly have to wait till June / July?

The factor Tour data that is said is... 24 hours for the bots to build a shell, then its around 2 days to go through paint, then once it hits the production line,

that's less than 12 hours till they drive it off the end of the line.

Not sure to when you will get it thats all down to transport.

Hope on the Mini live chat, give them your build number and they can tell you which status code the car is at and the estimated delivery week. If its in production expect delivery within the next 2 weeks. My JCW Clubman ordered through Park Lane was PDI and sent direct from the factory.

Thanks all ... The email just shows stages but later ones are blank so can’t even see what they are ... this what it says .. the email is from the dealer not mini so not exactly sure what I’m seeing.

Not wanting to hijack the thread but that's useful to know. I should also say a big thank you for pointing out the forces / military discount BMW / MINI offer. I was able to access it through my other half. A £10k discount is pretty handy! Very impressed with the Park Lane service as well. Out of interest, how long did your car take to come through?

My Countryman JCW was ordered mid January and it's due to arrive on Friday, also ordered with Park Lane.

I think it got stuck in customs for a few weeks, unfortunate but seems like the way things are now.

I ordered a Mini Countryman Classic via the BMW armed forces scheme in mid January and was told that it should be delivered to me 1st week of April.

My order was confirmed 02/09/20 and car was delivered 08/12/20 so 14 weeks but it was on time as I was told lead times were 14-16 weeks.

We placed the order for our Countryman on the 16th October 2020 and it was ready to be picked up from the dealer on the 19th December 2020 so 9 weeks in total. Was pretty much the same for our previous one in 2018.

Been told that our Countryman that we ordered mid January has been built and is at the port awaiting shipment to U.K. . Have been given a VIN number but not able to look up on bimmer codes.

Sorry for the slightly irrelevant post, but for nothing more than a comparison, our 2018 Countryman (F60) cooper S JCW was ordered Mid November (2018), built on the 20th November (it was a pre-allocated slot) and was delivered onto my driveway on the 9th December!

Sheet steel to dropping off kids to school in under 4 weeks! I was blown away.

Will do. Have been previously told to expect delivery W/c 5th April. Hope that is still correct as we have sold our F55 which is due to be collected at end of March.

If yours arrives when expected then we should be good for mid May

I went onto the Live Chat on the Mini website yesterday and was told that my car is now in the U.K. I assume at Southampton.

Car ordered 27 Jan
Car started production 26 Feb
Car collected from dealer 19 Mar - fun begins

Dealer email now showing complete ... "Your new MINI John Cooper Works Countryman is being given its final checks and tests by our quality control team, including your carefully chosen interior, features and finishes." Hopefully will get it mid-May ?

Wife's countryman ordered on the 18th Feb delivery expected 4th May but informed it may be earlier (last week in April) pending transport.
