Did any cars have the hilariously loud Bluetooth activated exhaust as standard, or was it only a £1.3K option?
Was it available on a Cooper S? I've seen it on some reviews of the Works 210 models, but the articles do not make it clear if it is standard or optional.

The JCW Pro Exhaust is standard on the Cooper S works and the Challenge 210 edition.

It's standard on the challenge cars - not so on the JCW

Thanks.
I think the Challenge 210's definitely include it as standard.

The problem is there are so many special editions (John Cooper Works v Cooper S Works?), and often the adverts are labelled incorrectly.
I assume Cooper S Seven is just a sticker and spoilers job. Is there a website with the definitive UK names and explanations?

A friend of mine has a JCW's with this exhaust, sounds like a diesel tractor on tick over, my wife had a JCW and it didn't have one so I assume it is/was an option on JCW's

It is optional on JCWs, and only up to 2017. Bizarrely when I test drove an F56 JCW with it fitted on the dealership had "permanently deactivated" it so never got to hear it in angry mode. Whether it actually improves power on its own - switched off or on - for the JCW I don't know.

On the Cooper S it is part of a kit that also includes a remap to hike the power to 210bhp. This is fitted as standard to the Challenge 210, and Cooper S 210 Works available between 2016 and 2017, which is essentially a Cooper S with both the 210 power kit and JCW body styling/aerokit.

The exhaust/tuning kit can be retrofitted to any Cooper S that was built until some time in 2017 I think, when it got killed by regulations.
So you can find it on a more normal looking Cooper S that doesn't have the JCW styling kit (I kind of don't mind that kit on the S but my pet hate is seeing it on weedy powered lesser models, which you notice cos they miss the bonnet scoop).

Dealers charge to supply and fit is £1500 which is a lot for only about 20bhp gain ( but could be BMw understating this). Mines an April 2018 and believe it was one of last ones on which this can be fitted.

Think some owners have had it fitted for nearer £1k keeping my ear to ground. The 210bhp cars always seem to get great reviews but may be other kit fitted (brakes, damper change) when factory 210 car that makes them better. Just in case BMW mini decide to have a lockdown release sale for us all to enhance our mini driving experience when keep local ends

I would agree fitted as standard on the 210 challenge and also as standard in Italy on the JCW Pro.

Here in UK, factory don’t fit to JCW they are fitted by dealership or third parties if it’s fitted at dealership before first registration most insurance companies class as a standard car, fit it after first registration it then becomes a modified vehicle for insurance purposes.

Here’s a pic of my UK JCWPro fully loaded, and yes fully spec’d before first registration.
