Towing with an R55 Clubman

I've got a Clubman 1.6 Cooper D and I'm thinking of fitting a towbar so that I can tow a 750kg (which is the max allowed towing weight) braked trailer. The trailer is relatively large (4m x 2m bed) but light.

Does anyone have any good / bad experience of towing with a Clubman?

Any suggestions / recommendations for a removable towbar?
