Just kidding, caliper stuck due to lack of use - painfully slow drive home with lots of cooling stops

You may need to change your brake fluid after that as it will likely have boiled! Did you experience any lengthening of brake pedal travel?

Mine failed the MOT on the NSF last week, the calipers are pretty cheap for the front.

The tyre sensor came on and could feel something was wrong - assumed puncture. Discs, pads, both callipers and brake fluid replaced.- This is the wife's car so went belt and braces

Now the EML has come on on my Countryman. - Always something. ( Last year it was a full engine rebuild due to running out of oil and killing the big end....with a new clutch it was just under £4k )
