We pick up a nicely spec’d f55 5 door cooper s tomorrow.
Any hints and tips? It’s a 2litre petrol turbo which I *think* is in the x2 s drive courtesy that we had for a while. I have missed hearing the lovely spool and compressor stall of a petrol turbo for ages.
Anything off the shelf I can fit to amplify this sound a little? Not interested in pops and bangs but I do love the sound of a good compressor stall.
Gone are the days of drilling air boxes so am I going down the standard induction kit or hard pipe intake that was popular but effective in the past?
Anything else I need to know? It replaces a 2litre Diesel SD countryman in JCW trim so will feel a bit smaller I think? It’s the wife’s car so anything I need to put on and it accidentally ending up on a racetrack needs to be explainable. I drive an f01 7 series so to me it’s a go cart,
