Well picked up my new to me 66 plate clubman cooper a week ago and I’m very impressed. My SD was due to the go back to mini finance at the end of the agreement in a couple of months and would have needed a service and 2 new tyres before then so I was keen to change. Initially I wanted something almost nearly new but have been financially hit a bit with COVID unfortunately. I was sold on the colour digital blue with black wheels and roof. Also having pan roof harman kardon heated screen and chili pack. The 1.5 is a good unit in my opinion of course not as quick as the SD but enough punch for me. The most impressive thing for me though is the interior, it definitely feels a step up in quality with better materials. If feels very solid and well put together. I hope for 3 good years with it.

Very nice. I’ve driven the hatch with that engine and it’s very good and pretty quick as well. Sounds pretty good as well.

Did you go for the manual or auto box? Did you manage to get a good spec on the car as well?

I went with a manual. The car has chilli pack harman kardon and pan roof along with rear pdc and heated front screen. The car was very local to me so I was able to get it during lockdown.
Unfortunately it has had to go back to the dealer as it was leaking coolant. A new water pump has been fitted so all should be ok now.
