Mini one 1.4 heaters not working

Hi, sisters just bought a mini one 2007 and there is no heat coming through the vents till about 30 minutes of driving and it’s horrible during winter aha

There’s no heat at all until you’ve been driving for a good while is there any common fault with these cars or anything I should check? Any help appreciated

no over heating issues? could be the ccontroller on the dash or a rod that moves the heat flap near your feet ,so i have read,but might just be a blocked heater matrix,daughters cars going in for doing next week hopefully

Have you checked the coolant tank? I’d guess and saying it would be empty
