Hi,

Looking to replace my front shock absorbers on my 2001 mini one, ordered from Euro car parts, picked them up, got them home and realised they were different when the original shock was off the car.
They are different to all the replacements i can find with a verticle mounting for the anti roll bar link rather than a tab on the side of the shock.

Does anyone know where i can look? I found a left hand shock on ebay, but for the life of me can't find a right!
Local auto factors tried to help but all they had listed were the type ECP had.

Cheapest options is to fit new dampers, top mounts and drop links from the later cars.

I think the only source of the correct dampers is MINI themselves.

Is the car a Y reg?

Use https://www.realoem.com/ to get the part number you need and then check google for availability. Autodoc will normally be the best bet, but as a previous poster mentioned it does take a while to be delivered.

Give you local dealer a call as well. Sometimes they can surprise you with the pricing.

It's a 51 plate, I work opposite a MINI garage, they are going to get a pair in for me to check, £200, so not the end of the world but more than i was hoping to pay.
